DREAM DISHES | I’M NACHO CHICK PEA
vegan nachos w/ DATG salsa

FOR LENTILS

Ingredients:

☁️ 1 cup green, brown, black, or French lentils, rinsed

☁️ 1.5 tsp chili powder

☁️ 1 tsp ground cumin powder

☁️ 1 tsp granulated garlic

☁️ 1 tsp onion powder

☁️ 1 tsp salt

☁️ 1/4 tsp black pepper

☁️ 1/2 tsp paprika

☁️ 1/4 cup DATG salsa (original or now or never)

☁️ 2 2/3 cup water


Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer about 25 minutes or until lentils are tender.

FOR THAT HOT QUICKIE QUESO DIP

Ingredients:

☁️ 1 cup raw cashews

☁️ 1 cup hot water

☁️ 1-3 tbsp Nutritional Yeast (to taste)

☁️ 1 tsp cumin powder

☁️ 1 tsp chili powder

☁️ 1 tsp salt

☁️ 1 garlic clove

☁️ Hot sauce to taste (suggests disco sauce)


Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Can add water to create desired consistency.

FOR THE HOT CHICK(PEAS)

Ingredients:

☁️ 1 can chickpeas, rinsed, drained, and patted dry

☁️ 1 tsp chili powder

☁️ ½ tsp cumin powder

☁️ ¼ tsp paprika

☁️ 1 tsp granulated garlic

☁️ 1 tsp salt

☁️ ¼ tsp pepper

☁️ 2 tsp avocado oil


Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a bowl and toss to combine.

ADDITIONAL (AND OPTIONAL) MIXERS AND PARTY FAVORS

☁️ tomatoes

☁️ green onions

☁️ avocado

☁️ corn

☁️ cabbage

☁️ radishes

☁️ cilantro

☁️ lime

☁️ vegan cheese

☁️ vegan sour cream


PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS AS INSTRUCTED ABOVE AND SERVE WITH AND OVER DATG SALSA AND CHIPS!
